  • 1 (19 oz) bag frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 (10 oz) bag fresh spinach
  • 2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes
  • 2 (12 oz) cans of low-fat chicken broth
  • 1 (8 oz block) cream cheese cut into cubes

How To Make Crockpot Cheese Tortellini And Sausage?

  • Step 1. On a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until brown and crumbled.

  • Step 2. Add the sausage to the crockpot plus all ingredients except the tortellini and cook on low for 5 hrs, stirring twice during this time.

  • Step 3. 20 minutes before the cooking time is done, add the tortellini and let cook until soft.

  1. If you want to make this dish lighter, use reduced-fat cream cheese.
  2. I like to use chicken Italian sausage when I’m controlling my calorie intake.
  3. Buy pre-washed spinach to save time.

    Does it make good leftovers or would you leave out the pasta and then rrheat with fresh pasta? Thank you! Delicious. I added Italian seasoning and salt.

    Can I put on high for 3 or use an instant pot?

      You can definitely put it on high for 3 hrs. Instapot can be used too!
