HOW TO MAKE PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BROWNIES?
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mash the bananas together using a fork. Add in the sugar, ½ cup melted butter, and the vanilla and whisk until combined.
- Add in the flour, salt, and cocoa powder and continue to whisk until fully combined.
- Using the remaining tbsp of butter, grease a 9×9 square baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 tbsp of cocoa powder on every side of the greased baking dish.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the peanut butter over the brownie batter, distributing it evenly.

It’s unlikely there will be any of these brownies left to freeze, but if there is, here’s how to do it. Once cooled, store brownies in an airtight container or sealed Ziplog bag and place in the freezer for up to 3-months.
Remove from freezer and allow to return to room temperature prior to serving.

Allow brownies to fully cool to room temperature. Once cooled, store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days, or in the fridge for up to 5-days.
RECIPE TIPS:
- If you find it difficult to mash the bananas with a fork, use a potato masher or place them in a food processor
- To create more even swirls, microwave the peanut butter for 15 seconds
- Don’t overbake these brownies! Bake until the center is just set, as the brownies will continue to cook as they cool
