  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed;
  • cup unsalted butter, melted;
  • ½ cup milk;
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature;
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract;
  • 1 cup granulated sugar;
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter;
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour;
  • 1 tsp baking soda;
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon;
  • pinch of salt;
  • ¾ cup of chocolate drops.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Grease a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Leave some paper hanging on two sides, it will help to remove banana bread with peanut butter. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, melted butter, milk, large egg, and vanilla extract. When completely combined, add granulated sugar and mix well. Set aside.
  • Add creamy peanut butter to another large mixing bowl, beat using an electric mixer until smooth. Then, add the banana batter and beat until completely combined. Finally, add all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix using a rubber spatula until combined. Then, stir in chocolate drops.
  • Transfer the banana bread batter to the prepared loaf pan. Spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until ready. Check the readiness of the peanut butter banana bread with chocolate chips using a toothpick inserted in the center, if it comes out clean - banana bread is ready. Remove the loaf pan from the oven and let it cool completely in a pan. Then, remove from the pan, slice, and serve.
