  • 1 large round sourdough bread
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 (16oz) wheel of brie, cubed
  • 1 ½ cups whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Salt to taste


  • preheat oven to 350F
  • Slice bread horizontally and vertically without going all the way through, creating one-inch cubes.
  • Melt butter in a small bowl and mix in dried thyme, dried rosemary, and salt.
  • Brush bread with butter and herbs (butter inside the slices too) and place loaf on a baking sheet.
  • Put a piece of brie cheese in each space
  • Add a teaspoon of cranberry sauce in each space
  • Wrap bread in foil
  • Bake for 20 mins until cheese is melted.
