Slice the Twinkies in half and layer the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish, cream side up.
Place the sliced bananas on top of the Twinkies in one layer.
Pour the crushed pineapples on top of the bananas.
In a mixing bowl, add the vanilla pudding mix and milk and whisk for 2 minutes.
Spread the pudding over the pineapples.
Add the Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Place the cherries on top and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
