Ingredients

For the danish

  • 2 can(s) ready to use refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white, for brushing,

For the glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

For the Danish

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 13X9-inch baking pan with vegetable oil or butter.
  • Lay a package of crescent rolls in the pan, pressing the dough with your fingers.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and whole egg until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls, using a spatula to help.
  • Lay the second package of crescent rolls on top of the mixture. Brush with the egg white (you might not need to use it all).
  • Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
  • Let cool down for about 20 minutes then top with glaze.

For the Glaze

  • Combine all ingredients until smooth.
