Beat room temperature butter with sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and eggs. Mix well.
Add flour, corn starch, baking soda and salt to the batter. Stir until the batter is smooth, make sure there are no lumps.
Add sprinkles and mix again. Leave the batter in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Using a spoon, form cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and put the cookies into the oven.
Bake for 8-9 minutes. Remember, cookies should stay light-colored, not brown.
You can store baked cookies at room temperature for about a week. If frozen, you can store them for up to 3 months.
Also, you can freeze the batter for up to 3 months.
