Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups oat flour
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 6 apples cored and cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • The juice of ½ lemon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • In a small bowl, mix the oat flour, almond flour, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles sand.
  • Squeeze half a lemon into a 9x13 baking dish. Core and slice the apples into wedges and add them to the baking dish as well as the cinnamon and ginger. Stir everything together.
  • Top the apples evenly with the sugar/flour crumb mixture and place the baking dish, uncovered, into the preheated oven. Bake for 50 to 60 mins or until the top is brown and crunchy.
