- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut into cubes
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. smooth peanut butter
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Melt over medium heat, bring to a boil, and simmer for 1 minute.
Remove mixture from heat, add the peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Stir until smooth. Add the oatmeal and stir again until combined.
Spoon the mixture onto the prepared parchment or silicone mat with a tablespoon and let cool for 45 minutes.
